Lives/Concerts
Dire1 differentiated ML Lives from others, saying that ML Lives aim to appeal to “emotions made by people”, in stark contrast to the Cinderella Girls’ focus of “showing off using the whole stage.”(Quotes from hpt.moe) Although the characters are great, the seiyuus themselves all have outstanding personalities. These personalities are hardly restricted during lives which makes them more enjoyable and even if you might not understand what they're saying at times, you can really understand just how much fun they're all having just by the precious smiles on their faces. The girls are really cute too
There are many types of lives for Million Live including M@STERS of IDOL WORLD concerts, release events, MilliRadio lives, and anniversary lives. A couple of the seiyuus were also guests for the 8th anniversary tour. Release event lives are usually only a few songs from an album that was recently released in sort of a mini-live. There have been numerous release events and the Million Live 3rd tour BD’s come with footage from Dreamers release events. Release events don’t have as much content as a longer anniversary live but they allow for special performances such as Alive Factor with Mingosu and Koroazu.
Anniversary lives are seen as the main attraction as they are long lives with many performers. So far there have been four anniversary lives for Million Live with the 1st live being performed at the Nakano Sun Plaza, the 2nd at the Makuhari Messe, the 3rd which was actually a live tour that traveled through Nagoya, Sendai, Osaka, Fukuoka, and back to the Makuhari Messe, and finally their 4th live at the Budokan.
The two concerts held for M@STERS of IDOL WORLD (2014 and 2015) were concerts that featured the three series of 765Pro All Stars, Cinderella Girls, and Million Live. These concerts are significant for Million Live because the concert held in 2014 at the Saitama Super Arena was the first time for many of these seiyuus performed in such a large arena.
Million Live also has the honor being the first to perform a live outside of Japan in Taiwan on 4/22/2017 and 4/23/2017.
Here a few performances from each live to give a taste of what Million Live is like.
